Advice from the ASC - Officiating

Membership Services, Wednesday, 1 June 2011

Revised advice regarding the release and expected completion of the General Principles for Officiating Course...

Gymnastics Australia (GA) would like to advise all prospective and existing Technical Members seeking to gain a judging accreditation, that the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) expects that new officiating candidates of all sports with accreditations in the National Officiating Accreditation Scheme will complete the ASC officiating general principles course. GA recommends that this course is completed prior to attending the judging specific day and endorses the online opportunity currently fully subsidised by the ASC.

GA provides this advice as first notice to prospective new judges, both new to the sport or coaches seeking a judging accreditation, who may be interested in registering and completing the course.

Proof of completion of this course will also provide updating for Members, including existing judges.
